About Our Church

Greetings!

We invite you to worship with us at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Christ the King Lutheran Church has been serving the Lower Richland Commnunity since it was founded as a mission in 1963. We are a community of faith that finds strength and hope for the challenges of life in our Living Lord. We are bound by a common need to have our faith renewed through worship, Christian education, and commnuity outreach. We celebrate weekly communion for the baptized.

We support local ecumnical minishtries. We are in partnership with approximately eleven thousand Lutheran congregrations, twenty-eight Lutheran colleges and universities, eight seminaries [ including one in this city ], four hundred and fifty worldwide missionaries, and one of the largest non-profit social service networks in the USA and the world, through Lutheran World Relief. You are cordially invited to join with us in serving the community, the nation, and the world.

Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. If you are interested in this faith community or would like to speak with the pastor, please call (803) 776-3050. After hours you are welcome to leave a message, and we will return your call.
